About Sasha Semina
Sasha Semina is a multimedia artist who specializes in immersive sound involving audio-reactive projection, interactive media, and vocal live-processing techniques. In addition to her own creative work, she has edited and created sound for film and podcasts professionally.
She has taught audio workshops at the Yale School of Art and Yale's Department of Music, sharing her expertise in cutting-edge audio technologies and creative sound design.
Education & Background
She is currently a master's student in Media Arts at the University of Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Computing and the Arts, with a focus in music composition, from Yale University.
Her awards include the 2023 Bach Society Prize in Music and the 2022 Abraham Beekman Cox Prize for Music Composition.
